Our coffee morning on 11th October raised £546 for Macmillan Cancer Care.
The church also donated £200.

Idle Upper Chapel is hosting a permanent collection point for Bradford North Foodbank.
The church is open from 10am – 11.30am on Thursdays for tea/coffee and cake so why not join us for a cuppa and drop off a donation.

Our Coffee Morning on 14th June 2025 raised £440 for the RNLI and the Salvation Army. The church also gave a donation of £100 to each of the charities
At the end of December 2024 we were contacted by the Moderator of the URC National Synod of Scotland as she had been given this hammer by a member of Giffnock URC in Glasgow whose friend had found it in a charity shop. She has very kindly passed this onto the Moderator of the Yorkshire Synod who will bring it home to Idle when he next visits. These hammers were given to the children of the Sunday School who each laid a stone at a special ceremony when the 4th Upper Chapel was being built in 1956.

On 30th July 2023 we were delighted to welcome three more members of our church family into formal membership. They are pictured here with our church secretary.
On 29th May 2022 we received 9 members of our church family into formal membership. They had previously worshipped at Wrose Methodist Church which unfortunately closed last year. We are delighted they have chosen Upper Chapel as their new home.
